Welcome to Kwasa College

Kwasa College is an Independent Anglican School in the Diocese of the Highveld, Springs, South Africa founded by the Ven. Rev. Sharron Anne Dinnie. The school is recognized by the South African government as an NPC (non-profit company) and is governed by an active Board of Directors.

We believe that every child has innate, God-given potential just waiting to be realised. Our focus is to release that potential by offering quality education for children from the Informal Settlement of Daggafontein.  Currently Kwasa College is a Pre-Primary School with 116 children ages 3-6 years old, and a Primary School with classes for Grades 1- 6 with 88 students.  Our Secondary Bursary Program funds the educational requirements of 58 older students in surrounding primary, secondary and technical schools. In 2017, Kwasa College started a Tertiary Program for former Kwasa students who will graduate from High School and need assistance in university or job placement requirements.

At Kwasa College, we believe it is our responsibility to protect and promote the right of every student to quality, equitable education where:
  • Students learn in a child-friendly, safe, and motivating environment.
  • Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner.
  • Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling and supportive environment for effective learning to happen.
  • Family, community and Kwasa College supporters are actively engaged and are committed to the goal of funding the educational needs of each student.
The Kwasa College
Coat of Arms has important meaning for the students and staff of the school.

The elements include:

Diocese of Highveld
